In Werkendam, a fire raged in a house with a thatched roof on Thursday afternoon. The house burned down completely. The fire spread to a house opposite, which was severely damaged.
Explosions were heard in the fire. These may be gas bottles that are present in the building, the fire service reports.
Images on Twitter show that a lot of smoke was released from the fire. The fire brigade was present with a lot of material to extinguish the fire. By six o’clock no fire was to be seen.
