House wanted for Bobby: “He seems scared but he is actually a happy dog”

Every week we try to find a new home for shelter animals in Zoetermeer. For all those happy, insecure, frightened and friendly cats and dogs there will probably be a sweet owner.

This week it’s two-year-old Bobby’s turn. He is quite insecure but if you are friendly this dog shows a whole different side of himself.

A cheerful boob with enough confidence

To strangers, Bobby reacts very insecurely. His insecurity makes him bark, just to scare away ‘dangerous’ people. But deep in Bobby there is an enormous kindness that you can bring out with patience as a new boss. Because once he has your trust, he is a happy boob and will do anything for you.

Poking through his insecure nature

Bobby used to walk with his previous owner with a halter around his head. This is so as not to scare people off. He is social towards other dogs, but he has never lived in the house with other animals. Dierentehuis Zoetermeer prefers not to place this dog in a family with small children. But dog lovers with experience can see through his insecure nature and build a good relationship with him.
