Raid on Thuringia’s AfD boss Björn Höcke (51)!

According to BILD information, the public prosecutor’s office had the private home of the right-wing extremist member of parliament in Bornhagen (Eichsfeld district) searched.

The house search took place on November 28, 2022. As BILD learned, Höcke himself should not be the focus of the investigation, but apparently the older of his two sons. The approximately 15-year-old Höcke scion was caught with drugs in another state, and the house was searched.

Senior public prosecutor Ulf Walther (64) confirmed: “On November 28, the Höcke family’s home in Bornhagen was searched. A minor family member is accused. The Mühlhausen public prosecutor has filed charges.”

Höcke himself has not yet commented on the case. The former history teacher and current Thuringian AfD boss from Lünen in North Rhine-Westphalia has been classified as a right-wing extremist and observed by the Office for the Protection of the Constitution since 2020. He was repeatedly noticed by racist, xenophobic and anti-Semitic statements.
