The resident of a house on Jan Mertenslaan was injured during a home robbery in Dongen on Sunday evening. Two perpetrators fled.
The resident was robbed at around half past eight in his house on Jan Mertenslaan. He was assaulted by the robbers. He allegedly received pepper spray in his face, among other things.
The perpetrators then fled in the direction of the nearby football field. It is unclear whether they also took anything.
An ambulance came to Jan Mertenslaan and treated the victim. He did not have to go to the hospital.
The police ask people who saw anything about the robbery or the fleeing perpetrators to call the police.
