Just in time for the start of Comic Con in San Diego, HBO released a new trailer for House Of The Dragon. The series is based on the book “Fire & Blood” by George RR Martin and takes place 200 years before the events of “Game Of Thrones”. House Of The Dragon premieres August 22 on HBO.
The Targaryens are the focus of the fantasy series. As usual, the perky blonde house blessing is lopsided. Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D’Arcy), Aegon II Targaryen (Tom Glynn-Carney) and Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith) fight for the succession to the throne. Of course, fire-breathing dragons should not be missing.
“House Of The Dragon” should not remain the only spin-off series. According to Deadline, HBO is planning three more series in the Game Of Thrones universe. The projects are named 9 Voyages/Sea Snake, Flea Bottom and 10,000 Ships. Jon Snow is also set to get his own show.
