The house on Abeelstraat in Breda, where shots were fired on Tuesday evening, has been temporarily closed by the municipality. She does this for public order and safety in the neighbourhood. After the shooting, officers found drugs in the house.
A neighbor across the street already said on Wednesday that he was not interested in the drug discovery in the house. He had suspected for some time that the house where the shooting took place would be a drug house.
He regularly saw striking cars passing by this house. “Very large, expensive cars with all foreign number plates. You see them stop in front of the door. Then someone gets out, something is picked up inside and then you see the car drive away again. Some others stayed all night partying in this house and didn’t leave until the next morning. It’s getting worse over time here, it’s getting annoying around here.”
Arrests
After the shooting, officers arrested three men: two 46-year-old men who were injured in the shooting and later another 24-year-old from Breda.
