A house on Hettenheuvellaan in Eindhoven was badly damaged on Tuesday evening by a blazing fire on the first floor. The house is temporarily uninhabitable for the residents, they are housed elsewhere. The neighbors also sleep elsewhere during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday.
The fire broke out around 8 p.m. Tuesday evening. The residents of the house discovered the fire and managed to get out of the house safely. Flames shot from the roof at the front and back of the house. The fire released a lot of smoke.
The fire brigade arrived on the scene with three vehicles, later a fourth unit was added. She mainly scaled up to ensure that firefighters could be relieved in time. This turned out to be necessary because of the warm weather.
An aerial platform was also used, so that the firefighters could extinguish the fire from above.
Flames from the roof
“There is especially a lot of damage on the top floor of the house,” a spokesperson said.
Despite the efforts of the fire brigade, the houses of the neighbors were also damaged. “The houses on the left and right sides of the burning home mainly have smoke and water damage.” That is why the residents of the three houses will be accommodated elsewhere next night.
No one was injured in the fire.
