There was an explosion at a house on the Goedenrade on Tuesday night around half past two. The front of the house was heavily damaged. The family living there was unharmed and moved to another location.
Other nearby houses have also been evacuated as a precaution. The cause of the explosion is still unknown and the police are investigating.
Emergency services are busy checking the safety of the home.
