A house on Populierenstraat in Assen was evacuated last night after the discovery of hazardous substances. The Explosive Ordnance Disposal Service (EOD) arrived on the scene and cleaned up the substances.
A police spokesman could not specify which substances were involved. The police have a suspect in mind, who comes to the police station to give a statement. The police are also conducting further investigations.
