On Monday evening, an antique shop on Keithstrasse in Berlin-Schoeneberg was attacked by two perpetrators. A woman was seriously injured and a hostage was taken.
The robbery happened around 6 p.m. According to BZ information, a woman was seriously injured. However, the woman was able to get out of the danger area and was then cared for by the rescue workers.
The SEK and a hundred police cordoned off the area around Kurfürstenstrasse and Kleistrasse.
According to BZ information, two perpetrators took a hostage in the shop. One of the two men gave up around 8 p.m., left the store and turned himself in to the police.
The other perpetrator remained in the store with the hostage and continued to negotiate with the police.
Shortly before midnight, the SEK was in front of the shop’s door – but the situation remained static. Two ambulances and an ambulance are on site.
The police reported via Twitter that they only wanted to provide further information after the end of the operation so as not to jeopardize the success of the operation.
