Horeca pavilion with 2,000 glass windows: this will be the newest eye-catcher in Knokke-Heist

The dome will be built from top to bottom. To make this possible, the entire construction is suspended from a construction crane during construction.

“Meccano at the top level”

“The construction of this dome is reminiscent of the classic Meccano toys, but at the top level. The shape is simple, but the structure is complex. Each element of the dome is unique and fits perfectly into the puzzle,” says Julie De Pauw , Development Manager at PSR.

In addition, the inhabitants of Knokke-Heist could participate in the dome. The developers collected old coins from residents last year to process them in black concrete tiles together with replica coins. Interspersed with white tiles, they will form a checkerboard pattern on the square.

Catering business under dome

Around the square there is room for benches and a catering manager will be placed in the glass dome.
