Maayke Tjin A-Lim managed to win the 100 meter hurdles at the Golden Spike tonight. De Hoornse was clearly faster than the competition in Leiden. For Jamile Samuel there was also a success in Geneva.
Tjin A-Lim ran the 100 meter hurdles in 13 seconds and 14 hundredths. This left the AV Zaanland athlete above her personal best of 13.02. Melanie Walker came in second with a time of 13.59.
Good luck to Samuel
At another competition in Geneva, Switzerland, Samuel won the 100 meters. The Amsterdammer clocked a time of 11 seconds and 31 hundredths. That was her fastest time of the season. She was disqualified from the FBK Games on Monday for a false start.
Lieke Klaver from Enkhuizen finished fifth in the 400 meters. She was more than seven tenths above her personal best with 51.53 seconds.
