the hearing aids of the Technical University (TH) Lübeck leads under the direction of Prof. Dr. Tim Jürgens will carry out an extensive study on hearing aids from autumn 2022 and is looking for test persons between the ages of 18 and 80 with moderate to severe hearing impairment who:
- have been wearing hearing aids for at least a year and
- who have difficulties with their own hearing aids in that understanding speech in noisy environments is highly problematic.
As part of the study, the latest hearing aids will be tested over several months and surveys will be conducted on the quality of the hearing aid fitting. To determine suitability and participation in the study, a hearing test is initially carried out in the laboratory of the Technical University of Lübeck.
Personal support from experienced hearing care professionals is planned during the test phase.
An expense allowance is paid for fitting appointments in the laboratory at the Technical University of Lübeck.
