Hooligans Club-Antwerp free due to procedural issue

After the fraught match Club Brugge – Antwerp, there were heavy riots on the Gistelse Steenweg in Sint-Andries on October 22, 2017. The rioters caused a lot of damage to homes and vehicles near the Jan Breydel Stadium. The police were pelted with all kinds of projectiles, such as stones, sticks, trees and street furniture. Twelve police officers were injured as a result. Seven victims were even incapacitated for work for a while.
