The US shoe retailer Crocs Inc. wants to strengthen its presence in Germany, Austria and the Benelux countries through the cooperation with the Hooijer Footwear Group. From August 1st, the Dutch family business is the official distributor of the Crocs brand for these markets.
The full-service agency based in Oldenzaal, which specializes in the shoe industry, will in future work with Crocs’ existing sales teams and look after selected customers in the region, according to a statement published on Tuesday.
Bart Hooijer, Head of Sales at Hooijer Footwear Group, is excited about the collaboration: “This partnership gives us the opportunity to enrich our product offering with a brand that is loved by consumers around the world,” he said in a statement . “We look forward to leveraging our extensive experience in the Benelux, Germany and Austria to help Crocs grow and build a successful partnership.”
Both companies are already working together: The Hooijer Footwear Group is already a distribution partner of the shoe brand Heydude, which was taken over by Crocs last year. The company’s portfolio also includes other labels such as Scholl, Jan Jansen and Tony Pons.
