A 28-year-old man from Hoogeveen was arrested last night in the city center of Groningen. He had punched an employee of a catering business in the face.
The Hoogeven resident then insulted officers. He also wanted to kick them, but that didn’t work, according to team leader Gerard de Jonge of the Groningen police on X. The man spent the night in jail and the police are investigating.
