Homeless man unwell to hospital in Ostend: police are looking for witnesses

The homeless man is known in the area, and sat on a bench near a public barbecue area. There was a kind of neighborhood gathering at the barbecue area. The homeless man suddenly became unwell and fell to the ground. Emergency services were notified and the man was taken to hospital immediately. His condition is said to be stable now.

Senseless violence?

The police conducted a neighborhood investigation and assumed a medical cause. But social media also circulates that the man has been harassed.
