The sofa is tempting, but it is a good idea to create a comfortable work space with an office atmosphere. It is best to have a calendar and to-do lists there as well – no colleague will drop by at home and remind you of the important conference call. If there is no space between the living room and the kitchen for a permanent office, it is worth the effort to set it up every morning. This also promotes a better mental attitude towards your work. Time can be taken to practice this and get to know the platform. It not only replaces meetings, but also the hallway radio and gossip between colleagues as long as they work from home and thus serves to maintain social contacts.
