Home hair removal

With home braces, you can get wonderfully smooth legs for even longer. The armpits and bikini area will also be cleaned if the pain threshold is high.

While there is nothing wrong with the hair, many aspire to smooth legs, armpits and a bikini line during the summer season. I would like to get rid of my hair preferably painlessly and effortlessly.

There are enough home-made hair removal products. However, when using them, be careful to clean the skin before hair removal and to disinfect and moisturize the area after surgery. And don’t forget to exfoliate your skin too: it prevents hair from growing inward.

1. Cold wax

Waxing pulls the hair out with its roots, ensuring smooth legs for up to several weeks. This time, Andmetics’ honey cold wax was selected as the test product.

The skin should be washed and dried before use. To facilitate the process, powder can also be applied to the skin, for example. Andmetics’ honey cold wax comes in a convenient tube from which the cold wax can be squeezed out just the right width at a time. The product can be applied well to the legs. The tube is really handy because it doesn’t spill cold wax on the floor.

Andmetics ’honey cold wax is easy to use and is not a very warlike affair, although there is no way to completely avoid the mess. The process is a bit painful, but it is probably impossible to make hair removal with wax completely painless. The soothing cleaning cloth that comes with the product cleanses the skin of cold wax and makes the skin feel wonderfully silky.

The cold wax works as desired, although not all the hair can be removed at once and the finishing must be done with a planer. I could very well continue to use the product.

2. Hot wax

Waxing pulls the hair out with its roots, so you can enjoy smooth legs for up to several weeks. The vegan Sugar Coated Full Body Hair Removal Kit is selected as the test product. Wax can be used on the body throughout, but due to the warfare, the product was only tested on the legs.

The set is handy to use: the wax packed in the jar is heated in a microwave and stays melted for a long time. Comes with skin cleansing strips. The wax spreads easily, is ready to tear off pretty soon. The hair leaves effectively with the strip.

The warm wax feels comfortable against the skin and makes it easier to pull the hair. The hot wax is applied with a spatula to the desired area one at a time. The hustle and bustle is effective but warlike. The hair also leaves hair that does not want to come off with the waxing, ie a planer is needed for finishing. This is mainly because the hairs grow in such different directions. Small wax residues can be removed from the skin conveniently with the included treatment cleansing strip. The hair stays away for several weeks.

3. Cold wax strip

Waxing pulls the hair out with its roots, so you can enjoy smooth skin for up to several weeks. Tanita brand cold wax strips for the bikini area are selected as the test product. Argan oil is also included in these cold wax strips, so this waxing can also be recommended for sensitive skin.

Tanita’s cold wax strips are super easy to use, as the wax is already applied to the strips. The strips should be warmed between your hands before they are removed. Then just apply the strip to the desired location and make sure the cold wax adheres to the hair properly before removing the strip. There is little residue on the strip after use. The hair comes off easily and almost painlessly. There are a few stubborn hairs left on the hoods that do not want to come off with the waxing, ie a planer is needed for finishing.

The tester grabbed the bikini area, legs and armpit hair with the product. Underarm hair removal was quite painful. The product is designed for the bikini line, but works well for the legs, bikini area and armpit hair. Of course, these should be more than one package if you are thinking of taking care of all the areas at once.

Cold wax strips come with a caring and cleansing fluid that leaves your feet feeling silky.

4. Epilator

The epilator pulls the hair out with its roots and promises that you can enjoy smooth skin for up to four weeks. A versatile Remington Smooth & Silky EP5 5-in-1 epilator was selected for the test.

The tester tried the epilator for hair removal for the first time. The fear of great pain had stretched the testing far. However, the epilator proves to be surprisingly painless. The end result is accurate and long lasting. The tester intends to rely on hair removal for this products I will continue to notice. It saves time and the epilated skin feels truly silky. The tester also tried to remove the armpit hair with that device, but the pain became too severe in such a sensitive area.

Otherwise, the product is easy to use and there is no need to clean up clutter. Sure, the shaving head needs to be cleaned, but compared to waxes, this option is much cooler.

The epilator has five different shaving heads, from which you can choose the most suitable option for different moments. The following shaving heads are included: the specially shaped Ultimate Contour shaving head, the precision shaving head for smaller skin areas, the Ladyshaver shaving head and the bikini comb. The massaging shaving head with moisturizing Aloe vera is intended for particularly gentle hair removal.

5. Planer

For many, the planer is the credit guy for shaving hair. It also does it usually quickly as well as painlessly. Unfortunately, the results just aren’t very long lasting. For the planer, BIC’s carbon-neutral bamboo planer was selected for the test.

The powerful and easy-to-use planer makes the legs and armpits conveniently smooth. It glid well on the skin and the blade lasted sharply in use several times. The bamboo stalk planer is also an ecological choice, as bamboo is a rapidly renewable resource and used blades are sold separately, which also generates less waste. This five-blade system blade is suitable for both men and women. Plus the beautiful and sleek design of the bamboo stem.

Remember to peel the skin

Exfoliation plays an important role in hair removal. This is because exfoliation can prevent the hair from growing inwards. When exfoliating the skin, you should only prefer the option of gently exfoliating and moisturizing at the same time.

Madara, AHA mineral body peeling, 35.95 e, Grass root.

Madara AHA Mineral Body Scrub is an effective combination of AHA fruit acids and white clay. Concentrated AHA, or alpha-hydroxy acid, removes dead skin cells, opens skin pores and leaves skin looking smoother and younger looking.
