Bayern loan at the start of training
Holstein Kiel is apparently working on a permanent commitment from Fiete Arp. The 22-year-old striker surprisingly took part in the “Storks” training session on Monday. The right foot is said to have gotten an extra release from his home club FC Bayern. Although the attacker’s loan contract runs until the end of the month, it is not usual for a loaned player to train with his temporary employer again after the summer break.
According to the “Kiel news“ Arp’s chances of staying in Kiel are good. According to this, sports director Uwe Stöver is currently negotiating with the people of Munich, who should no longer plan with the former HSV professional. Born in Bad Segeberger, he would also like to stay with KSV and thus stay close to home. As the “mopo“ reported, the Arps working paper, which is still valid until 2024, is to be dissolved.
Hamburger SV’s youngest goalscorer in Bundesliga history switched from the “Rothosen” to Munich in 2019 for 3 million euros. Since then, Arp has only played for the pros for 13 minutes. Most of the time he played for Bayern’s second team, but he was often held back by injuries. A total of 41 games are recorded for the reserve, in which he scored eight goals and three assists. He played a total of 25 games for Kiel last season (three goals/two assists).

Holstein Kiel: Mees released for negotiations – return to Jahn Regensburg?
Joshua Mees (26), on the other hand, should leave the second division team. The left winger, who was absent from the start of training, is said to be free to negotiate with other clubs. The 26-year-old has been part of the team since 2020 when he came to Kiel from Union Berlin. His contract runs until 2024.

According to the “Kieler Nachrichten”, a return to Jahn Regensburg, for whom he was loaned in 2017/18, is under discussion. Mees has a total of 52 games for KSV. A farewell was already indicated in the past second half of the season, when he was less and less part of the squad.
