According to Bartels and Sander
Last week Holstein Kiel announced the extension with Fin Bartels (35), followed on Tuesday by Philipp Sander (23) and on Wednesday the second division team completed the hat trick: Johannes van den Bergh (35) also signed a new contract at the Förde and is now bound to the KSV until June 30, 2023.
“Johannes van den Bergh is an integral part of our team with his experience, his mentality and his playful qualities,” said Managing Director Sport Uwe Stöver. “He takes on responsibility and is actively involved in the day-to-day work. We are therefore convinced that he will also be an important part of our team in the coming season.”
Van den Bergh joined Kiel in 2017 and has made 135 appearances for the club since then, making 15 appearances this season. “I am very grateful and very happy to be able to stay in Kiel for another year. I have had great and sportingly successful years with KSV. I would like to build on that in the coming year,” said the veteran.
