The Hollywood Vampires played a concert in Hamburg’s Stadtpark on Tuesday (June 27). The “most expensive cover band in the world”, founded by Alice Cooper, Joe Perry and Johnny Depp in 2015, came to Germany for a show for the first time in three years. It continues in Berlin on Wednesday and in Mainz on Friday. In this article we present you the highlights of the gig in Hamburg’s Stadtpark.
Photos and videos from the Hollywood Vampires concert in Hamburg
A concert-goer who was in the front row posted these photos on Twitter. “It was such a great show!” she wrote.
This video features Johnny Depp, who is still battling his injury, while filming Joe Perry, who was literally “On Fire.” One of his amplifiers caught fire during the concert.
The city park was packed, as can be seen in this video.
The Vampires lived up to their reputation as the “world’s most expensive cover band” on Tuesday. Among other things, they performed “People Who Died”, originally by The Jim Carroll Band…
…and “Baba O’Riley” by The Who.
