The Hollywood Vampires have to postpone the start of their tour (May 30) because Johnny Depp has injured himself: On Monday they announced on Instagram that three concerts scheduled for this week cannot take place for the time being. The performances (Tuesday in Manchester, Wednesday in Boston and Thursday in Bethel, New York) will be held in July instead.
The group, which includes Joe Perry, Alice Cooper, Tommy Henriksen and of course Johnny Depp, said: “Johnny sustained a painful ankle injury during his recent performances and his doctor has advised him not to travel. He’s devastated by this turn of events, but he’s looking forward to resting so all four vampires can do their absolute best on the European tour.”

More about the Hollywood Vampires
The band, originally formed in 2012 by Depp and core members Alice Cooper and Joe Perry (Aerosmith), first announced in 2022 that they would be reuniting for a tour in 2023 alongside rhythm guitarist Tommy Henriksen (Warlock). This announcement came days after Depp won his defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife Amber Heard.
