P.unfortunately holidays are over for almost everyone and the return to work, to commitments, to daily life can be traumatic. For those who still have their heads on vacation and a lump in their throat, we suggest a comforting pastime. Immediately think, without wasting a moment, of the bridges of the school (and working) year that is starting.
Are your holidays over? Let’s think about the bridges of the year
There is a way to make the impact of reentry less traumatic. Finished the summer holidays, why not think immediately about the next ones? Real holidays or even just long weekends, to be organized using the so-called “bridges” that during the year interrupt the routine of the working weeks and allow you to catch your breath during the winter. Watching the calendarthis 2022-2023 is also quite fortunate and offers some reason for relief.
What are the national holidays
To find out what the mini-breaks of the year can be, it is important to know what national holidays are. They are, in fact, these holidays which, if attached to the previous or following weekend, allow the so-called bridges to be created.
It starts on November 1st with the feast of all saints. It follows on December 8ththe Immaculate Conception, the 25th DecemberChristmas and the December 26th.
The year starts again with the January 1stNew Year, then the January 6, epiphany. At this point comes the Easter and the next day, the Easter Monday.
And again the 25 Aprilthe anniversary of the Liberation, the May 1stLabor Day and the June 2, national holiday of the Republic. To these is added the feast of the patron saint.

Bridges of the year: we start on November 1st
On November 1st, the feast of All Saints, falls on a Tuesday. The “bridge” day would therefore be Monday, which would allow a long weekend from 30 October to 2 November.
December 8, the feast of the Immaculate Conception
December 8 falls on a Thursday. Perfect for a long bridge, this time until Sunday 11. For the Milanese then, it would be very long, since it could start as early as 7 December, Feast of Sant’Ambrogio.
Christmas and Epiphany
The Christmas this year will fall on Sunday 25 December, not that great. However, although it is not a bridge, at the weekend it will attack on Monday 26th. Unfortunately, the 31st will be Saturday and January 1st Sunday. But then the Befana on January 6 will arrive on Friday.
Easter 2023
The P.asqua 2023 will be Sunday 9 April. But here, as always, there are only two days. But let’s think positively: starting the working week on Tuesday is always pleasant.
Bridges of the year: along April 25th and mini on May 1st
There Liberation Day will be a great relief. In fact, this year it will be on Tuesday and this allows a long weekend from Saturday 22nd to Tuesday 25th April. Mini stop, however, for May 1st, Monday.
Last bridge: June 2nd
The last bridge before the real summer vacation is there Republic Day: June 2nd. And even in this case, falling on a Friday, it will allow a long weekend in which you can already look forward to a taste of the sea.
