Veronica leaves prison, returns home to her father and finds Giada, her best friend. Declared innocent at the end of a painful judicial process – we learn from flashbacks – she was accused of a heinous crime: mother and lover massacred in the family hotel swimming pool.

As in Hosts (2012, with Gianni Morandi), Gabbriellini shows that he has a talent, perhaps an obsession, for the darkest part of the human soul that family relationships bring into the open.

And he works intelligently on the genre: the attempt to rebuild a life after prison under the oppressive gaze of society. Playing with crime, he sips revelations and provides new points of view.
Passed at the Toronto festival and the Rome festival.
