STwenty kids gained access to Maria De Filippi’s talent show. Nine dancers and eleven singers. Among these there is also Holden23 year old Roman boy. His real name is Joseph Carta and he is the son of Paolo Carta, husband of superstar Laura Pausini.

In recent years the Canale 5 talent show (produced by Fascino PGT for Mediaset) has continued to launch new artists on the Italian music scene. In the latest edition, for example, Angelina Mango triumphed in the “Singing” category and has been having a great time ever since. Just in yesterday’s episode, October 1st (the second appointment with Friends), returned as a guest on the program, and premiered her new single What do I tell you?.
But Angelina Mango – daughter of Pino Mango and Laura Valente – was not the only daughter of art competing in the program that she recently launched LDA, son of Gigi D’Alessio. This year, then, sitting among the desks of the most sought-after school in Italy Holden is there too. Son of Paolo Carta and his ex-wife Rebecca Galli, he wants to pursue his path in the field of music with conviction.

His career, from Rome’s discos to Spotify’s Top Viral
Yes, because Holden (real name Joseph Carta) has already had some experiences and some important recognitions in the music industry. Singer-songwriter and producer, Holden started playing in Roman discos at a very young age after discovering his passion for the EDM pop world. Then, the first EP he called Young Holdenas well as Salinger’s famous novel, from which he took inspiration for his stage name.
Holden’s greatest success is Na Na Na, song that was certified platinum. With this song, Holden entered the Spotify Top Viral and he managed to make himself known to many young listeners. Then, in March 2021, he published Prologuehis first album, containing 17 songs and collaborations with Coez, Quentin40 and Gemello. The following year the singles were released Tear me apart, You already know it And Neon. The last official single is finally Flashesarriving in January 2023.
To Friends of Maria De Filippi Holden led one of his unpublished works entitled Tell me it’s not goodbye. The song – which demonstrates his artistic maturity – immediately convinced the jurors and the public so much so that Rudy Zerbi immediately decided to give him the talent shirtallowing him to sit among the boys of this edition.
Holden: Paolo Carta is the father
Holden was born from the first marriage of producer and guitarist Paolo Carta. He is the youngest of three brothers (besides him there are Jader, born in 1995, and Jacopo, born in 1996). In 2005 Paolo Carta met Laura Pausini, after joining her band. From that moment love was born between the two.
As the singer from Solarolo had the opportunity to tell I Woman: «I didn’t think I would ever date a man who had already been married. It was outside my beliefs». But love, as we know, is stronger than many ideas. And so the two got engaged, continuing to collaborate with each other on a professional level.
In 2013, Paola Carta was born from their relationship. And the wedding came in great secrecy later this year 18 years of relationship.
