Hoka and End climb rocky terrain together

Finally, Hoka gives it a new look.

Together, the British clothing retailer and the running shoe specialist have reinterpreted the ‘Mafate Speed 2’ and ‘Kaha Low’ sneaker models, Hoka announced on Friday. The revised shoes are scheduled to hit the market on March 13th.

The two models were selected because of their robust properties, which make them synonymous with the world of “overlanding”, i.e. a long-distance journey where the journey is the destination, according to the statement. These characteristics and, above all, the terrain associated with the journey are particularly reflected in the color palette of the two models, which are adorned with natural, khaki and brown tones. The material used for the shoes remains unchanged, only a co-branding honoring the collaboration is incorporated as a logo into the upper material and into the tongue of the two models.

“During the project, it was important to us to honor the performance aspect of Hoka while developing a story that also made sense for End,” said Callum Hill, senior collaborations manager at End. “We landed on Overlanding because it embodies durability, functionality and a sense of adventure – appealing to modern explorers who move both in the city and off-road.”

The Hoka x End Mafate Speed will be available for 180 euros and the Kaha Low for 210 euros from March 15, 2024, both online and in stores. The sneakers will also be raffled off at End.
