HODO champion: Back in 2th class after six seasons

Initially, Dwingeloo absolutely did not want to participate in a white-and-black party. The red shirts were brutal and for large parts of the first half the better team. The lead, due to a nice goal by Fabian Bosker after fifteen minutes of play, was certainly not undeserved. And there could have been more for the home team in the first half, because the same Bosker and captain Sander Nijstad also had excellent chances to make it 2-0. HODO offered little in return in the first 45 minutes. Prince’s men played the long ball too quickly and were hardly dangerous.

That changed after the break, although Dwingeloo also had the 2-0 on the shoe in the second company. In fact, the team of trainer Rob Vliek also scored the 2-0, but Melvin Koning’s goal was rejected for offside.

The equalizer came twenty minutes before the end. Literally and figuratively. Stefan Kikkert was devastating from about 25 meters. The ball hit the ropes like a grenade through the post. A worthy champion hit: A ten with a stylus.
