Meanwhile, Tim Stützle spoiled Patrick Kane’s debut for the New York Rangers in the Ottawa Senators’ 5-3 lead. With his 29th goal of the season, the 21-year-old made the final score on Thursday evening (03/02/2023, local time). Kane joined the Rangers from the Chicago Blackhawks and has won the Stanley Cup three times in his career. He remained without a goal and had four shots on target.

Ninth win in a row for Boston

The Boston Bruins recorded their ninth win in a row and gave the Buffalo Sabers no chance at 7-1. JJ Peterka was involved in Buffalo’s only goal and now has 13 assists this season. After just 61 games, the Bruins have now broken the 100-point mark, faster than any team in National Hockey League history. The record was previously held by the Montreal Canadiens, who played 62 games in 1976-77 and still hold the record for most points in a season (132).
