The Club on the Alster and the Düsseldorfer HC for the ladies, the Berliner HC and the Harvestehuder THC for the men, as well as RW Köln and the Mannheimer HC, which each send two teams into the race, make up the championships among themselves. The defending champions are the women from Club an der Alster and the men from Rot-Weiss Cologne.
Long-term rivals already meet in the semi-finals
In the first semi-final, the long-term rivals for the title, Club an der Alster and Düsseldorf, face each other. The Rhinelanders made it into the Final Four without a fight after opponents Zehlendorfer Wespen had to pass due to corona. Cologne and Mannheim will contest the second semi-final.
For the men, Mannheim and last year’s winner Cologne will kick things off. After the duel between Berlin and Harvestehude, the four finalists have been determined.
