In the same league, Twedo – Westerwolde ended in a 1-1 draw.
Musselkanaal remains the leader in the 3rd class C with 25 points from 10 matches. HOC and Twedo share second place with 24 out of 11, but HOC has a better goal difference.
‘Bellingwolde is a size too small for the 3rd class’
HOC trainer Bas Nibbelke was clear after the game at Bellingwolde: “They are a size too small for this class.” At halftime, the team from Drenthe, which did not play at full strength due to some corona cases, led 2-4. “After that it went very fast. Within seven minutes after the break it was 2-8,” said Nibbelke. “After that we loosened the reins a bit, because it took more than half an hour before the final goal was scored.”

Tweedo is right
Arjen Heidekamp gave Westerwolde the lead in the first half at SV Twedo. Dimitri Lazaridis provided a point for the home club in the absolute final phase, which had taken over the lead from Musselkanaal in the event of a victory.
