H&M celebrates 100 years of Disney

Swedish clothing retailer Hennes & Mauritz AB (H&M) has teamed up with street artist and designer Trevor Andrew to celebrate Disney’s centenary. The result was the men’s fashion collection “Disney100 x H&M”, which has been available in H&M branches and online stores since last Thursday.

For the streetwear collection, which includes hoodies, T-shirts, accessories and a limited skateboard edition, Andrew has interpreted classic Disney motifs in his typical artistic style in a contemporary way. “It’s my honor to reimagine iconic Disney characters and transport them into a space where they are experienced and carried. It’s about art, fashion and just bringing us all together,” explained the former world-class snowboarder.

Ross Lydon, H&M’s Head of Menswear Design, praised the collaboration with Andrew and Disney: “I’m really excited to launch our first 3-way collaboration,” he said in a statement. “We went into the Disney archives with Trevor, and the result was something that’s both iconic and unique.”
