Hit singer Antoon performs for his own villagers during Snertpop

Not in the Ziggo Dome for thousands of fans, but just for the public in their own village. On Saturday September 10, the Midwoudse Antoon will perform during Snertpop. The jubilee festival has succeeded in enticing the popular singer for the 15th edition. Antoon is currently scoring hit after hit, and in December he will give two sold-out shows in the Ziggo Dome.

Antoon was also at Snertpop last year. Since then, things went fast with the singer, who grew up in the village where Snertpop has been held since 2007. He scored hits with songs like ‘Emergency lane’ ‘Hello’ and ‘Hotel school’† His club tour was sold out, he is booked at the biggest festivals and as a superlative he sold out all 17 thousand seats in the Ziggo Dome within five hours.

The performance at Snertpop is one of the two West Frisian shows of the teen idol. On June 18, he will also perform during Live in Hoorn.

Bob Marley Tribute

On September 10, he will be one of a total of nine artists, spread over two stages. Son Mieux is also coming to Midwoud. The band from The Hague can currently be heard frequently on the radio with ‘Multicolor’

Bob Marley tribute band Rootsriders, Voltage, Paul Sinha, House of Rock, Savine, Glock’45 from Hoorn and Wheat Kings from Wervershoof also grace the line-up. Ticket sales have started.

Snertpop takes place at a new location. In recent years it took place on the De Knap estate, now the festival is moving to the Buurt in Midwoud, where the Normal performances were previously held.

Last year, Snertpop was one of the few festivals that could continue, where many festivals were canceled due to corona. That edition was sold out.
