National athlete Onur Demirci won 1 gold and 2 silver medals at the Youth and Under-23 European Championships held in Albania.
According to the statement made by the Turkish Weightlifting Federation, national weightlifter Onur Demirci, who competed in the 109-kg young men’s category in the championship that continues in the city of Durres, won the gold medal with a 163-pound lift in the snatch.
Onur, who won the silver medal with his 196-pound slide in the shake, reached the silver medal with a total of 359-pounds.
