National weightlifter Sara Yenigün won three gold medals at the Junior and Under-23 European Championships held in Albania.
According to the statement made by the Turkish Weightlifting Federation, national athlete Sara Yenigün, who climbed to the podium in 87 kg on the eighth day of the organization in Durres, became the European Champion by winning three gold medals.
The crescent-star weightlifter won three gold medals with a time of 95 kilograms in snatch, 123 kilograms in clean and jerk and a total of 218 kilograms.
With this result, the number of medals of the nationals in the championship became 37, with 14 gold, 17 silver and 6 bronze.
