Historic victory for Norway: Erling Haaland overruns Sweden

Erling Haaland hits and hits and hits – five times in four games in the current Nations League season. Thanks to the striker, Norway defeated neighbor Sweden again and are now dreaming of bigger things.

In the end it was 3-1 (1-0) in Oslo for the eleven of former Cologne coach Stale Solbakken. For Norway it was the first home win against their neighbors in over 40 years.

Haaland gave his team the lead in Oslo with a header (10th minute). After the break, the 21-year-old, who will move from Borussia Dortmund to Manchester City in July, increased the penalty after video evidence (54th). Haaland now has 20 goals in 21 international matches.

Leipzig’s Emil Forsberg (63′) shortened with a right-footed shot in the corner, Alexander Sörloth (77′) countered. Victor Gyökeres (90+5) managed to score the Swedish goal.
