From danceable bangers to nasty boards – now there’s the full program. And if you want to try something new, you won’t be disappointed. Because Badmómzjay delivers a new sound and RAF Camora and Ski Aggu let two different rap worlds collide with their joint track. We listened to the songs, classified them and gave you an overview here.
Badmómzjay – “Come With Me”
With “Komm Mit” Badmómzjay gives another taste of their album SURVIVAL MODE, which will be released on November 24th. Unlike most of her previous songs, the rapper surprises here with an amopiano beat. Her long-time companion Jumpa produced this atmospheric club song together with Bgrz. In keeping with this, the music video features not only Badmómzjay but also several dancers in India and Holland. The video was created in collaboration with the Red Bull “Dance Your Style” campaign and shows, in addition to rap, another pillar of hip hop: breakdance. In terms of content, Badmómzjay invites you to take a journey into her past and take a look at her recipe for success.
“If you want, I’ll take you with me/Come with me/We’ll make holes in the clouds on the way up”
OG Keemo ft. Souly – “Bag”
For his latest track, OG Keemo goes on a scout trip into nature. The 30-year-old raps about how he fills his “pocket” and celebrates his success with clever word games. The whole thing is underlined with adlibs from rap colleague Souly. For the accompanying beat, OG Keemo worked – as in all his previous tracks – with his regular producer and best friend Funkfather Frank.
“The world is going to the dogs, but the bag is wonderful/I eat twos, fives, hundreds because I’m hungry/All I do is hum like a bumblebee/All I know is beef “There is no Kumbaya”
RAF Camora ft. Ski Aggu – “Best regards”
In the joint song, gangster rapper RAF Camora and the party song king Ski Aggu come together. The two musicians send “love greetings” on a sample of Haddaway’s hit “What Is Love”. The video shows the duo performing the song for a large number of fans on a gas station roof in Vienna. The instrumental came from The Royals, The Cratez, Kev Koko, Neal & Alex, Stoopid Lou, coolpacc, RAF Camora and Dee Dee Halligan.
“Atzen im Berghain recognize me/You know my lyrics by heart/The bass rattles badly, I don’t sleep”
Kid Cudi – “Ill What I Bleed”
Along with his single “Most Ain’t Dennis,” Kid Cudi released “Ill What I Bleed” back in September. However, only on Soundcloud, which is why both songs went unnoticed. Now there was another official release of the song including a music video. It features Kid Kudi during his stay in Seoul, South Korea, where he goes shopping, dances in the streets and gives a concert. “Ill What I Bleed” is a single from his album INSANO, which was postponed to January 2024.
“I do what I please, I keep it simple/Keep my circle with the real ones by my side/Cannot miss him when he enters rooms”
