Track bike sprinter Emma Hinze is heading for the next medal at the home European Championships in Munich.
The world champion easily made it into the semi-finals on Monday (from 3.45 p.m. / ZDF / ZDF media library) on Sunday. This also includes Lea Sophie Friedrich. The Federation of German Cyclists (BDR) has secured another medal.
Hinze confidently prevailed in the quarter-finals with 2-0 runs against the British Sophie Capewell. Vice World Champion Friedrich did not show any weaknesses in the 2-0 win over Alexandra Lochvinyuk from the Ukraine.
Hinze and Friedrich had won gold in the team sprint on Friday. Hinze also won the 500m time trial on Saturday.
