Highsnobiety has appointed Sebastian Jean as the new fashion director.
Jean took up his new position on October 3, the Berlin-based streetwear platform announced on Wednesday. He will be based in the fashion department of the New York office, overseeing the styling of Highsnobiety’s collection and retail platforms.
He comes to Highsnobiety from the fashion and culture magazine Office, where he was men’s fashion editor for five years. Jean has also worked for Calvin Klein and stylist Melanie Ward and has been a styling director at fashion companies such as Nike, Ssense and Burberry. In addition to these activities, he is also one of the co-founders of the publication ‘The Black Utopia’, which offers a platform for black creative people.
