Higher, more expensive, more luxurious: will our Belgian coast become the Dubai on the North Sea? | Interior

Gone are the days when seaside residences were called Aurore or Starfish. Today they are called O’Sea, Sky Tower of The Waves. They are remarkably luxurious and high, as high as lighthouses. Some think this is sustainable: since 1990 Flanders has added one million people, we have to close together. Others fear that they will soon have to eat their shrimp croquettes in a second-rate Dubai. What is the limit under our sky?
