Arriva will adjust the timetable for the Warffum-Groningen, Groningen-Winschoten and Groningen-Zuidhorn train routes with effect from 2 May. Reason: the high absenteeism among Arriva employees.
On the track Warffum-Groningen the rush hours of 07:35 and 08:05 from Warffum to Groningen will be cancelled.
On the track Groningen-Zuidhorn the following shuttle rides will be cancelled:
- Groningen towards Zuidhorn: 8.24 pm, 9.24 pm and 10.24 pm;
- Zuidhorn towards Groningen: 8.57 pm, 9.57 pm and 10.57 pm.
On the track Groningen-Winschoten the slow trains will continue to run, but the express trains will be cancelled. The local train from Groningen to Zuidbroek will continue to Winschoten at 2:47 PM, 3:47 PM, 4:47 PM and 5:47 PM. The local train from Zuidbroek to Groningen runs from Winschoten at 3.10 pm, 4.10 pm, 5.10 pm and 6.10 pm.
In addition, rush hour rides will be canceled on the Leeuwarden–Sneek route.
