Heuvelland satisfied with more consultation with youth movements

Youth movements will consult more with the municipalities where they reside. One of these is Heuvelland, a place where many young people like to pitch their tents. But they have never had any major problems here. Wieland De Meyer, mayor of Heuvelland: “I think it is good that there is more consultation, but we have never had any significant problems, even though very large groups sometimes come here in our small villages. There is sometimes some noise nuisance and some litter, but it is not too bad. We also provide all youth movements with a camp folder containing all the rules.”
