Foodora is changing its hugely popular Hesburger discount campaign. The 50 percent discount on Hesburger products has ended as of Thursday morning. The discount will be 20 percent in the future, says Foodora in its announcement.
The popularity of the campaign surprised Foodora, as the number of Pro users increased drastically in a few days. The number of orders caused challenges for both Foodora and Hesburger. Already before, Foodora had to limit the number of Hesburger products on sale.
According to the release, attempts have been made to solve the challenges with marketing and operational measures in order to get the situation under control, but the solutions have not had a sufficient effect.
– Although we did everything possible in connection with the evaluation of the Pro campaign, we could not imagine that the campaign would reach such proportions. For this reason, the discount percentage of Hesburger’s products offered to its customers in the Foodora Pro campaign will change. We apologize for the challenges caused to our customers, Hesburger and all our other partners, says the CEO of Foodora Finland Joonas Kuronen in the bulletin.

The new 20 percent discount for Foodora Pro customers is valid until February 29, 2024.
