At Hertha BSC the bad luck doesn’t end! The derby smack against Union (1: 4) is followed by the next bad news! In the decisive phase of the relegation battle, Hertha (17th place) now has to do without Berlin’s top scorer.
Stevan Jovetic (6 goals) is out, will miss several games…
The Montenegrin, who fell to the ground after only twenty minutes in the derby against Union and had to be substituted after only seven ball contacts, has torn a muscle fiber in his thigh.
Again and again Jovetic – he was only able to play 17 season games due to his bad luck with injuries and a Corona break.
Hopes are now resting on Ishak Belfodil (30/3 goals) and Davie Selke (27/2) and on offensive all-rounder Marco Richter (24/5 goals).
Good: Niklas Stark (26/ankle) and Prince Boateng (35/back) returned on Monday at least back on the training ground, could be fit again in time for the game in Augsburg.
