As expected, Hertha BSC clearly won its first test match in pre-season. The Bundesliga relegated team prevailed 6-0 (5-0) on Sunday afternoon at RSV Eintracht 1949 Stahnsdorf.

Marten Winkler (15th/42nd minute), Marco Richter (16th), Florian Niederlechner (28th) and Marc Oliver Kempf (38th) ensured clear conditions in the first half. Derry Scherhant (58th) followed up in the second half in front of 2868 spectators in Stahnsdorf.

Coach Pal Dardai played two completely different teams in both halves of the game. The newcomers Fabian Reese, Gustav Christensen and Marius Gersbeck were also used. Jeremy Dudziak, who signed on Friday, was still missing from the squad, as were the two U-21 internationals Jessic Ngankam and Marton Dardai, who are still on vacation after the European Championship end with the DFB youth team.

Bence Dardai, the youngest son of the coach, made his debut in the A-Elf. Like his brothers Palko and Marton Dardai, the 17-year-old played for Hertha under his father.

The Berliners started preparations last Monday. The next test is next Friday (7:00 p.m.) at BFC Dynamo. The season in the second division begins for Hertha with the away game on July 29th or 30th at Fortuna Düsseldorf.
