Hertha BSC’s head of the supervisory board officially

The media manager and entrepreneur Torsten-Jörn Klein is again chairman of the supervisory board of Hertha BSC.

Scott Körber, chairman of the sports committee in the Berlin House of Representatives, remains deputy. Ex-Hertha professional Andreas Schmidt, today’s financial advisor, completes the three-member committee, the statement said.

Klein has been a member of the club’s supervisory board since 2004, serving as chairman from 2018 to 2022. His successor and now predecessor, Klaus Brüggemann, announced his resignation at the beginning of the general meeting in mid-October. Renate Döhmer also withdrew from the committee. In his statement, Brüggemann clearly targeted Hertha President Kay Bernstein, among other things.

“I will fill this out with the greatest engagement, because I am aware that I also have a responsibility in our current problematic situation. Now it is about going together and closed this hard path,” said Klein with a view to the tense financial situation of the Capital.
