Hertha BSC faces relegation in the Bundesliga two games before the end of the season. Interim coach Felix Magath played a large part in this, collecting a respectable 1.4 points on average with the capital city club. With his hard gait, the 68-year-old is not well received by every professional.
Max Kruse is one of the most opinionated players in the Bundesliga. The ex-national player regularly chats on the “Twitch” streaming platform about what is happening in professional football – and does not mince his words. One of the topics on Sunday was coach Felix Magath from Hertha BSC.
When asked by a spectator whether he would switch to the experienced coach in the coming season, Kruse replied: “I go everywhere, but never to Magath”.
When his wife wanted to know why this wasn’t going to happen, the 34-year-old explained: “He’s a shyer! But I’ve heard he gives you another break from 30. But he’s sick! He makes medicine balls until people puke.”
Max Kruse: Formula 1 “died” since Michael Schumacher left
Once the stream and shisha pipe were up and running, Kruse also commented on motorsport, one of his great passions. With “Max Kruse Racing”, the Wolfsburg resident even has his own racing team.
According to his own statement, the attacker can no longer do anything with Formula 1. “I’ll say quite honestly: Formula 1 has died for me since Michael Schumacher. Since he stopped, I don’t feel like it anymore,” said Kruse.
In the upcoming summer break, the Bundesliga professional should have time for more streaming evenings. With 38 points, relegation for VfL Wolfsburg is already secured.
The two remaining games against 1. FC Köln and FC Bayern are therefore no longer of great sporting importance.
