Hertha BSC signed Krzysztof Piatek from AC Milan for 24 million euros in January 2020. To this day, the 26-year-old is the second most expensive player in the history of the Berlin club. Only Lucas Tousart (25 million) once cost Hertha even more.
But instead of helping the capital city club as a reliable scorer, Piatek increasingly moved into the second tier in Berlin. In the current season, the center forward has only played ten games and mostly only made short appearances. Because of this, Piatek’s departure from the Bundesliga is on the way.

Piatek is no stranger to Genoa. For Milan, the Hertha professional shot a total of 16 times in 41 missions before moving on to Berlin. Now Piatek’s time in the Bundesliga is supposedly coming to an end.
