Hertha BSC backs down in the transfer dispute: Marcel Lotka is allowed to go to BVB

Hertha is and remains embarrassing – despite staying up. The Moor has done his duty. Until the winter they don’t see any talent in Lotka and they see him as number 5, then he convinces and they want to keep him, and then Christensen convinces in two games and he’s ready to go again. There’s really no concept behind it at all.
And goalkeeper coach Menger should be fired. It’s unbelievable what he did with a talented Bundesliga goalkeeper like Schwolow and he doesn’t seem to have an eye for talent either.

Your comment here is and remains embarrassing.
What does this “The Moor has done his duty” mean? Lotka was recognized as a talent far too late and they wanted to fight for him, which is then legally not remotely promising.
This has nothing to do with “done one’s duty”, it’s purely rational.

Also making mistakes, especially in an absolute epidemic season – historically many unrest situations on and off the field, where you are mostly to blame for it (without question), apparently this season is part of it.
I agree with you about the TW trainer Menger, who made too many mistakes.
Schwolow, however, was called “completely overrated” by Freiburg fans here and elsewhere when he came to us.
And so it has also been confirmed in all the many games as No.1.
Peace was never broadcast, a number of mistakes, uncertainties when walking out and technical deficits.
He got his chance, didn’t take it and confirmed the statements made by many SCF fans who said he played above his level at the time and was just “overrated”.

Christensen played relatively confidently in his first two games without any match experience.
I don’t see the HSV goal directly as a TW mistake, it worked in the second leg.
In the end you can say that it was TW trainer Menger’s lack of competence/responsibility (Schwolow, Lotka). Hertha wanted, Lotka wanted (clearly communicated in interviews), but legally it is not possible.
Christensen (was previously injured for a long time) got his chance because of Lotka’s injury and used it.

Making mistakes is human. At the end of the day, you still have to take responsibility.
I wish Lotti all the best, even if I suspect that he will play a less important role in the coming years – unfortunately.
Thank you for everything. What a horny guy. ♥

To be honest, Lotka has played 10 games and is (more or less) holding the relegation. You suddenly want to take an option that you previously rejected. According to Bobic “this is going to be a legal thing” one does not shy away from the court hearing. And now comes Christensen, makes 2! good games and everything is forgotten?
I don’t know how you see it, but in my eyes it’s a lot like a pawn sacrifice. Missed 2 games due to injury and you can go again…that’s why the saying with the “Mohr” fits a bit in my eyes.

And if the assessment of the legal situation has shown that you have no chance, it is perfectly legitimate to let him go. But you should make this assessment before announcing a legal dispute or wanting to take an option.

And on the subject of Menger, in Cologne many were…let’s call it positively surprised that he went to you…
