Hertha BSC has agreed to a long-term cooperation with the 17-year-old youth player Ibrahim Maza.
“In Ibo, we convinced a Berlin boy with a heart and a football cage mentality to follow our path. He has shown outstanding performances in the past few months,” said sports director Benjamin Weber, according to a statement on Thursday evening.
The offensive player has already been in the Bundesliga squad twice this season and was recently praised by coach Pal Dardai. In the current season, Maza, who has been with Hertha since 2016, mostly played for the U19s and collected 19 points in 25 games.
